...since 1986, the friendly atmosphere of the family management combined with a meticulous care of the needs of guests, makes the FavelleHouse apartments a welcoming and informal place where you can spend holidays in the heart of the Majella National Park, in the middle of mountains of Abruzzo.
Our apartments
Currently we offer two apartments: Monte Amaro and Monte Porrara that take their names from the mountains they overlook. Both are tastefully furnished and guarantee a high level of comfort as well as a suggestive mountain touch.
The FavelleHouse apartments are the ideal choice for both families and young couples and more. They are therefore suitable for all those looking for an original holiday full o fun, natural beauty, active rest or total relaxation.

Ski facilities at your fingertips
Campo di Giove offers the highest slopes in all of Abruzzo, just 2 km from the FavelleHouse. The presence of slopes with diffrent difficulties (blue, 2.4 km, red 1 km, black 1.5 km) make it possible to satisfy the needs of all tastes and all ages. Just 15 km away there is the Alto Sangro district with famouse Roccaraso, Pescocostanzo or Rivisondoli.
Great sport experience
The territory satisfies all the tourist needs both in the winter and in the summer: from relaxing snowshoeing to countless trekking offers passing through mountain biking experiences and regenerating walks. All immersed in Majella National Park.
Direst contact with nature
Observe the animals and their natural habits to know all the most hidden aspects. Among the peaks of the Park you can meet the chamois, the Apennine wolf and event the Marsican brown bear.
Ticino Lake: natural oasis within walking distance
A few steps from the center of Campo di Giove there is a lovely natural oasis called Lake Ticino accessible on foor or by bike. Within the lake it is possible to carry out small excursions in the surrounding paths. The property has an outdoor picknick area. Ideal for lovers of greenery and relaxation.
Ancient villages
Valleys and slopes of the Majella since the paleolithic are affected by the presence of human settlements. Just a few kilometers from Campo di Giove you can find Pescocostanzo, Pacentro and Sulmona, famous especially for the production od candies called confetti and for cultural events such as ''The Knightly Joust'' or ''The Madonna who runs across the square''.
Delicious cuisine
Have you ever tasted ''arrosticini''? The arrosticini is the typical dish from Abruzzo, appreciated both in Italy and abroad. Consist of skewers aof about 25 cm of sheep meat, cut into small cubes of 1 cm per side, an are born from traditional pastoral activity of the region. Moreover mozzarella, bocconcini or fiordilatte with their splendid freshness are a unique taste experience.

I would like to compliment the oweners for their hospitality and also for really clean and prepared apartment. The view from the window was amazing. We had a wonderful walk on the mountains and we saw deers, roebucks and wild boars under the sunset. The place offers a variety of cultural tours and excursions in the nature! We hope to return there soon. Highly recommended!!!

Campo di Giove è una località meravigliosa, dal clima splendido e vicino a tante bellezze naturali purtroppo poco conosciute al nord da dove noi veniamo. La casa è poi in una posizione perfetta: in centro al paese ma con panorama sulla Majella, che in certe serate si colora di un rosa fiabesco. I proprietari poi sono squisiti e ospitali, a loro va un enorme grazie e un arrivederci a presto!
